October | Responsibility | Do what you are supposed to do. Persevere. Keep on trying. Always do your best. Use self-control. Be self-disciplined. Think before you act. Consider the consequences. Be accountable for your choices. |
November | Fairness | Play by the rules. Take turns and share. Be open-minded. Listen to others. Don't take advantage of others. Don't blame others carelessly. |
December/January | Trustworthiness | Be honest. Don't deceive, cheat, or steal. Be reliable. Do what you say you'll do. Have the courage to do the right thing. Build a good reputation. Be loyal. Stand by your family and friends. |
February | Citizenship | Do your share to make your community better. Cooperate. Respect others. Be a good friend. Respect authority. |
March | Leadership | A person who guides others toward a common goal, showing the way by example, and creating an environment in which other team members feel actively involved in the entire process. A leader is not the boss of the team but, instead, the person that is committed to carrying out the mission of the group together. They are a good listener, keep focused, organized, and include others. |
April | Most Improved | This student has shown improvement in either attitude, work habits, attendance, school spirit, or academic performance. This student may not necessarily have a high academic average but has shown growth, development, and great effort during the year. |
May | Scholarship | This award is based on a student's academic, artistic, athletic, or other abilities. |
